Overview

Pisces Aquatic Fish Companion ("Pisces", "we", "us") helps aquarium keepers and maintenance technicians diagnose tank health, plan cleanings and track service history. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account info: the email address and password you sign up with.
• Tank and job data: water test readings, tank size and type, species, notes and diagnosis history you enter.
• Profile photo: an optional picture you choose from your device's photo library.
• Usage data: basic app usage, like which screens you visit, and crash or error logs, used to keep the app working reliably.

How diagnosis and recommendations work

Diagnosis, medication and cleaning guidance are generated entirely within the app by a built-in, rule-based engine. Your tank data and symptom selections are never sent to any third-party AI service for this feature. Pisces is a decision-support tool. It doesn't replace your own judgment, and we don't guarantee the accuracy of its suggestions.

Where your data lives

Your account, tank data and profile photo are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore and Cloud Storage). Access rules restrict your data to your own account.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your payment card details.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that power the app's storage and subscriptions, and only as needed to provide the app's features.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time from Manage Profile. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data from Manage Profile, then Delete Account. To have your data removed manually, contact us below.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it doesn't collect any personal information.

Children

Pisces is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy as the app evolves, and we'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
