Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using Pisces Aquatic Fish Companion ("Pisces"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Pisces is
Pisces is a diagnostic and guidance tool that helps aquarium keepers and maintenance technicians standardize water testing, cleaning and treatment decisions. It is a decision-support tool and not a substitute for your own training, judgment or applicable regulations. You're responsible for the care decisions you make.
Pisces provides general care guidance. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a licensed aquatic veterinarian.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts include a free 7-day trial with full access. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription, billed and managed through your device's app store. You can view, manage or cancel your subscription from Manage Profile or your app store account settings.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pisces to break any law, infringe on others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app. Don't create multiple accounts to claim free trials repeatedly.
Disclaimer
Pisces and its guidance are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to make the guidance useful and accurate, but aquatic health can be unpredictable, so always apply your own judgment alongside the app's suggestions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pisces and its creators aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You can stop using Pisces and delete your account at any time from Manage Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
End User License Agreement
Use of Pisces downloaded from the Apple App Store is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
